Established in 2007, Hunan Zhongxin New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a vertically integrated enterprise specializing in research, development, production, and trade of high-end vanadium alloys. With a registered capital of 69.806154 million RMB, Zhongxin covers an area of approximately 100 acres and employs over 100 staff members. It is the first company to enter the provincial-level high-tech industrial development zone in Luxi County, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture of Tujia and Miao Nationalities, Hunan Province.

The company has a total production capacity of 13,000 tons of high-end vanadium alloys, with more than 1 billion RMB in annual revenues and 10 millions of RMB in annual output per capita. It is recognized as a “little giant”, namely the national-level specialized, refined, differential, and innovative (SRDI) enterprise, a champion product enterprise in Hunan Province’s manufacturing industry, a key unit in the 22 industrial chains’ cluster of new material enterprises, and one of the 52 companies devoted to technological breakthroughs and transformation of scientific and technological achievements in strategic emerging industries in Hunan Province. In 2015, it underwent equity reform, and over the years, it has established strategic partnerships with top domestic and international enterprises, with a global customer base and industry-wide recognition. It is now the Vice President Unit of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. Zhongxin houses the only provincial-level research center of vanadium alloy engineering technology in Hunan Province and participated in the formulation of China national standard GB/T 40301-2021 for vanadium trioxide.
